Call the special call center for Harel members, which operates throughout the week at 3555*.

Service in English and Hebrew: Sunday-Thursday – 8 AM to 8 PM, Friday – 8 AM to 12 PM.

Service in Hebrew only: Sunday-Thursday – 8 PM to 8 AM the next morning, Friday – 12 PM to 8 AM Sunday morning.

To obtain services through the call center, enter your Maccabi membership number without the digit 9 at the beginning.
You can also make an appointment on the Find Services tab on the Maccabi website.

You will be given the name of your doctor when you make an appointment or speak with the call center 3555*. If you have a personal password, you can find this information on the Maccabi Online website, under the My Doctor tab.

Instructions for making or cancelling appointments can be found on the Maccabi website.

You can visit one of the Maccabi branches. Bring your passport and Maccabi membership number to update your contact information and receive an initial password for Maccabi Online services.

If you want to update your email address or Israeli phone number in the Maccabi system, call the special call center at 3555*, or visit one of the Maccabi branches with your passport, ID and Maccabi membership number.

  • In an emergency, members of Maccabi are allowed to go to any emergency room in any public hospital.
  • Before going to an emergency room, we recommend seeking treatment in the community, at an urgent medicine center of Maccabi or under contract with it, or consulting with a nurse at the Maccabi Call Center, 3555*.
  • A visit to the emergency room involves payment unless the reason for the visit is included in the cases defined in the terms of the policy.

Activation of a single-use code: Enter your Maccabi ID number that was sent to you after you joined the insurance plan, without the digit 9 at the beginning. Enter the digit 9 at the beginning of your number in the field "citizenship code) > Choose your full date of birth as registered with Maccabi > Then press the button "I forgot my password." A window will open for selecting how the code will be sent: to a cellphone or the email address listed in the Maccabi system > After receiving the code in the manner you chose, fill it in and open the Maccabi Online website.

Recovering a permanent password: Identify yourself on the Maccabi website as described in Section 1 (Activation of a single-use code) > Receive the single-use code > Open the website and choose a new permanent password.
Instructions for updating your password can be found on the Maccabi website.

On a computer: Open the Maccabi website > Choose "Maccabi Online" > Right-click on the mouse Choose the option "Translate to" and choose your desired language.

2. On a cellphone: Open the Maccabi website using Google Chrome > Choose "Maccabi Online" > Press the three-dot symbol > Choose the option "Translate."

Enter the Maccabi Online website > Identify yourself with a password > Choose the option "Communicate with doctors." Additional information about requests from your doctor can be found on the Maccabi website.

  • Maccabi has agreements with all the public hospitals in Israel.
  • Service is provided at the hospitals according to medical urgency, as decided by the physician and according to the policy.
  • Hospital service involves a charge, and therefor requires prior approval and a financial commitment (Form 17) from Maccabi.
  • A request for commitment requires medical justification, a referral from a Maccabi physician in the relevant field of the treatment and an appointment from the hospital.
  • The documents can be submitted through the Maccabi Online website or by physically visiting the medical center.
